CIMA E2- Managing performance
A 90-minute computerized objective test consisting of 60 equally weighted questions will evaluate you. Many of the syllabus' learning areas will be covered, so you must study as many subjects as you can for the exam. Also, the above-mentioned topic weighting will be reflected in the test.
- Business models and value creation - 30%
- Managing projects - 30%
- Managing people performance - 40%
The exam is created randomly by a computer; therefore, the questions are posed in no particular order and each student undertakes a different test.
The questions are presented in several different ways:
- Multiple choice questions – You will be expected to pick the correct answer/answers from the many responses that you have got.
- Dropdown questions– You'll be asked to pick the appropriate answer from a drop-down list of possible responses.
- Drag and drop questions – You will be prompted to shift a label to a different location.
- Hot spot questions – You will need to identify an area of an image by clicking on it
Tips to pass E2 exam and study effectively-
- Study as much as possible
- It might sound obvious, but the theory works often. Studying for the last two weeks before the exam daily. It only takes 30-45 minutes to read notes on the commute to work. The easiest way of learning CIMA subject is to refresh your mind regularly. It is not possible to spend 10 hours a day training or studying at the last minute.
- Be good about handling your time
- This advice on the approach to taking practical CIMA exams is brilliant. The time pressure in the E2 test isn’t as high though. You can easily go through the exam in about 60 minutes and spend the next 20 minutes or so reviewing every question and answer.
- Organize yourself
Maintain the same notepad for research notes, practice questions and revision notes everything. And in one shot you can have all of the supplies and notes. It's a smart way to keep a track, as opposed to having countless notepads, paper scraps and sheets printed out.
